[ this is the weirdest feeling shinji's ever experienced; i mean, other than dying. he doesn't know how to decipher the guy's expression. he doesn't know if he's happy or not. he doesn't even know if he should approach him to ask what's wrong. maybe he swallowed bone or something he didn't like... ]
